I dont think DI is working correctly

unless the cap is rediculously low, I equip a regular weapon then equip a weapon with DI. On my status bar it shows the same amount of damage. The DI weapon should have a higher damage range.

yeh i have just realized that and was thinkin about postin, then saw urs.
even i do wear a composite with 85 di and a regular composite which ive bought from npc it shows sameamount of dmage at my status bar. and di cap is 100 right? so its weird...

ive been wonder why i do only 10 to about everything if no spells have been cast

Ya i put on DI on my archer and i dont see any thing going up although when i do aosprops i do see it there.

DI does not change the damage in your status, its calculated only during an actual hit. Same with slayers, damage modifyer etc. Not sure if its like that on OSI or not but thats how it is here. Base damage and skill is the only things that are considered static so those show up. But DI is dynamic, as some spells/abilities give/take DI which is only determined during an actual hit.
