do the tokuno champ and get some tots. If you are lookin for gold, probably your best bet is to make an archer and go after yamadons. Or gauntlet would work good too, but the DF can be a little tough.

Welcome aboard, always nice to see more people, we can use the extra activity around here these days.
Theres quite a lot to explore around here. But as new members best bet is probably tokuno to get tots. Paragons work well too so start up a spawn in ilsh and thats a good way to get lot of lower end paragons.

Welcome aboard!
Necromage: Start the sleeping dragon champion spawn in tokuno (It'll be in the middle of Isamu-Jima, the first island, of the tokuno islands. Go in there in wraith form and a wisp and just wither all the monsters. Not only can you loot the gold and items you get there to get new gear, you'll also be able to get some lesser treasures of tokuno (They pop up in your bag every so often). The first wave of monsters is rather easy (Lizardmen and Deathwatch beetle hatchlings). Both of these monsters are relatively easy and should not pose too much of a problem. Might want to be cautious of the second wave of monsters though.
If you're not ready for the champion spawn, there's plenty of easy areas in tokuno where you can kill and get those treasures to build up a good suit. The waste (Desert north of Makoto-Jima, the tokuno town) is a great place to start off. Tons of deathwatch beetle hatchlings and regular deathwatch beetles. Crane marsh south of Homare-Jima in another fantastic place because there's a lot of lizardmen.
Hiryu are great tanks and can take on many different targets. Lesser hiryu you may want to keep away from some creatures as they will die quicker. They'll be alright to go off and kill things for you in places like the waste or crane marsh. I'd keep them away from yamandons.

Most of the special creatures are built like the others. They may have special abilities and powers but the loot they drop is the same compared to the difficulty level of the creature.
There's a deathblade in ilshenar/valor (There's a moongate there). You can kill it with ranged attacks and has a ton of loot on it. It only spawns around 3 hours though so it's first come, first served.
There's also a vorpal chicken that can sometimes spawn in spectre dungeon (Ilshenar again). Vorpal chickens are kind of like vorpal bunnies in the respect that they have a lot of hit points but very low damage.
Some of the custom monsters that drop special items include berserkers (They sometimes drop red mushrooms which greatly increase dexterity for a short while). Berserkers are kind of like brigands but more powerful and very fast.

TOTS = Treasures of Tokuno.
