I'm just going to keep updating this thread whenever I have something to ask.

Seeing as how we're not trying to be all OSI here :roll: what are the odds of opening up the T2A lands to housing?

Where is this server located?

Are there any plans on doing wipes of any kind? (I'm always in support of doing a wipe or three to clean things up)

Most likely would not enable housing there (probably hardly anywhere to actually put one given its all non flat) but nothing would stop from possibly changing in future.

Server is located in Dallas Tx (I think... may be Houston, theres like 6 data centers, its in one of them :P)

No plans to do wipes of any kind. Though theres always the possibility that every item of a certain type is wiped if some major changes have to be made to it, it wont load properly.

Actually I was on a server once that did that (Crystalgate - pol2) and I had one of the hottest houses around!! It was a tower placed in the middle of one of those lava pools near the Ophidian Lair.

yeah the fel/tram spawners are still weird with invul mobs, not sure why. I set it so it spawns on its own, I'll go check make sure it works. One of these days I want to convert all vendors to use the fel/tram ones rather then one spawner per facet.

I was mining in Ilshenar with regular pickaxes and using a prospectors tool. Somehow I summoned a Copper Elemental. Didn't give me any trouble, I was wondering if this is a regular occurrence?

its uncommon, but even with regular pickaxes you have a chance at spawning an ore elemental. Its actually a good thing, cause they carry 25 ore.

On here your best bet is to make a dedicated miner/lumberjack. Put on him 120 mining/100 lumberjack/and 50 or so tinkering so you can keep making shovels. Best bet is to use chivalry for sacred journey instead of recall, you can get up to 4/6 casting and cast it on the run. That still leaves a lot of skill pts for a suitable pvm build. Just ask Beewaqii, I was on my miner chasing him around in fel and he let his pup loose on me. I EoO'd it and knocked the snot out of it with my fey slayer.

would this work out? It's what I have on Duhmize, but this isn't Duhmize :lol:

3 accounts here. Possibly 4 in the future, but I'm leaving it at 3 for now.

You can actually get up to 3 houses per account over time, so I will most likely keep it 3. (1+ years vet reward = extra house slot, 2 years = 3rd house slot)

But its 3 per person not per household.

damn thats generous.

OOH another question.... this is fun...

On another shard (pol) they scripted a way to COMBINE houses into one large house, basically they removed the space requirements on the sides. Is this a huge thing or would it be possible? It was only meant to work with custom houses, so no 3 castles together. :) (18 x 26 is massive and very cool)

I'd like to note that pets can't seem to keep up in following a player and that 'all come' seems slower than 'all follow'

A possible system in the future would be a guild town system. Would let a guild have their own town. Basically they buy land and would gain extra abilities on that land, one of them would be ability to make houses together. So it would actually be possible to combine a bunch of houses and make a huge guild castle.

As for pet speeds it seems the AI changes did make them move slower, but have not been able to figure out why.

YEs, one of Docs characters was chasing me around destard. He whack my dog, poor Gold!!!.

Luckily the combination of my dog an the dragons kept me alive for a while but I did eventually sucumb.

I love Doc and I forgive him for his transgression....I didnt give him a count hehehe.

personally, and this is only my opinion, but my pvm chiv dexxer build works great on the ore eles and wood fairies(or whatever they are).

I don't know what skill I would drop for fishing. Archery is a lil hard to get 4 faster casting. You don't really need 4/6, just the 4 fc for fast recalls. Also without tactics your arrows will hit for about 2 damage. No need for smithing either. For tinkering you just need enough to have a decent chance at making a shovel, you will mine up plenty of regular ore to smelt.

I wish I had more skill pts to put necro on my miner. He is pretty badass. Also, donate to the server and get the portable forge. Its very nice to have and the money goes to a good cause.

I would REALLY like to see the system where you could combine houses. I have big plans for THUNDER MANSION, I would even consider selling both my luna and casino plot to expand my mansion if I could combine houses.

Bod system/rewards is totally revamped here but there are a lot of OSI ones like runic saws, fletching kits, tinker sets, recipies etc. We're always adding more to those as well. One major reward planned is item engraving tools.
