I don't know about anyone else, but I have had numerous occations that I wanted to use the initial skill deed to just move me to 80 or 60 or (insert < max) or use jewelry for a skill and put a few points somewhere else, but there seems to be no way to do this with the current deeds.

So would it be possible to have it ask how many points I want to bump a certain skill?

That would be tricky to do. (gumps are a pita to code) but one work around is buy the skill, train it a bit, then use the deed. There are also deed bags you can buy if you have tons of gold to spare and there are 25 point ones and 10 point ones etc. (randomized) so you can also mix and match those.

Yeah I do that for some skills, but since it is a free 300 points, I want to use it any way I want, not just for a boost to max...
