Update [Feb 28 07] - void and elemental lord modification

*The void has been nerfed as it was too powerful, it has less ssi and 25% chance of lightning instead of 100.
*Elemental Lord has been buffed, more resists, hit points, and damage

why 25% Lightning? That's a little low. Lets remember what you have to kill to get it.
25% Lightning
50% SSI
15% HCI
I'm sorry. But I honestly think I'd rather use a Horselord, or Dyrad than that. I've looted better bows off vorpals. I suggest the Hit Lightning is random, like The Black Hole's mods.

Well this is basically like a dryad bow, SSI 50 but instead of DI you get lightning (which does about as much damage as the regular shot if it hits) and it's all energy damage rather then physical, so more chance of hitting a weak spot, as physical is easier to get than energy.

I agree. Elves have a higher energy cap as well as most mage artifacts have high lightning resist.

Ok considering it has no DMI I set the lightning to 50. Really, I don't know why this bow hurt so much, from the mods, even unnerfed, its not THAT bad, but yet each hit did like 30ish damage. We'll see how it is now after SW. I set it up so it loads up and does the changes automatically to existing ones.

Probably has something to do with the hit chance and the speed.

Yeah could be, just made it seem like more damage maybe, and I had a typo, it was actually 50 lightning not 70. So every 2nd hit is a lightning, in average. This will actually work wonders on deathblades as they have low energy compared to the other resists.

If you want a good comparison, compare the weapon to the stats of the darkened sky. It is similar in stat with the benefits of long range. Might help out when you look into ways of balancing the weapon.

Yeah I was comparing it with dryad bow. Basically it has the same ssi, but instead of DMI it has hit spell, and the hci as well which is a nice addition as getting 45 hci on a suit is not too easy. Even for the time I played demise, I never managed to hit 45 hci or FC2 for that matter. (Both at same time)

If the bow has too much damage output, you can always try breaking the elemental damages or lower the hit spell/ssi combo.
