Update [Mar 22 08] - fixes and stuff

* Tweaked damage again, hopefully I got it right this time. :P

* Special shot scalars (such as crushing blow) now happen after the pvp damage cap.

* tactics and str determine the intensity of all other damage modifiers. (DI, spells, slayers etc)
The scale is based on (150str + 120tacts)/270 giving 100% intensity while say, 75 str and 60 tacts will only give 50% intensity.

* Fixed bug where tactics was not gaining with the new damage code

* Fixed container weight issue. Another part of RunUO's code that was screwy. Overriding the maxweight did not actually work properly unless it was overriden with 0. Recoded it.

* Updated map files to client 6.0.6.2 be sure to update your clients.

As always, report if you see anything that is off with these new calculations.

Does this mean that a mage with 80str and no tactics will only get a 30% benefit from their SDI? Tell me that's not so!

This is strictly weapon damage. Spells (even hit spell) are not affected. I plan to oversee spell damage later though, maybe it needs to be bumped/lowered, or some aspects changed, but think its fine as it is.

I worded that wrong, by spells I meant spells that modify weapon damage such as horrific beast form, divine fury, etc.

I believe he's referring to weapon modifier spells such as consecrate and not spells that are casted on a target or area spells.

Are you using a slayer or chiv spells? If not that sounds about right. I do about that with my necro archer. They have high poison and decent fire so even with necro spells you wont do that much to them. With my chiv char I do near 100 though. EO1, divine fury, demon slayer tali and consecrate. Oh and disco. (not 120 disco on that char though)

i was using no spells but a with lightning i was doing about 10 with a a blackhole
