Alright, time to run another poll.

As you may know, there's some armor in the game that's either "elf only" or "female only". However, this creates a double standard as females and elves can still wear armor that's male or human. It's not fair to the other classes. Therefore here's what I'm proposing:

Males
Females
Elves
Humans

Will each have an armor type that can be worn specifically by them

-Females will have armor such as bustiers, female leather armor and skirts and any unisex armor (Such as leggings and gloves and stuff)

-Men will have larger tunics such as the honking plate tunics or any tunic that's got a feel that's best suited for a male.

-Elves will get the small armor such as leaf armor (Most of these are already "elf only" so there won't be a noticeable difference). Elves also already got quite a share of their own "elf only" armor.

-Large armors that wouldn't fit an elf (Like large plate armors and chainmails/ringmails) won't be wearable by elves to suit elven lore of smaller armors that are more "magical".

I know what everyone's thinking: "But what about artifacts?". Popular arties such as AOF will be unisex and only certain arties (Like say, holy knight's breastplate or tunic of fire) will be one race or gender. An equivalent (Like heart of the lion VS Violet Courage) will likely, also be made.

Alright, due to popular demand, this won't go in. I have a better idea to favor non-elf/female classes anyways.

There are already female only and elf only armors. Or were you going to make some equip Human/Male only? Don't see why, it's all about the class/char you choose. Like I don't think coerls or whatever should be messed with.

Certain elf only items will have a percent chance of being created or produced in the human equivalent (Example: Crafting a stitcher's mittens might have a 10% chance of becoming one that can be worn by humans. This method, it doesn't take away from elves getting the benefit of good armor (Humans can too, just takes more luck to get it) and at the same time, does not give an elf something better than a human just because they're a different race)

Well thats not in yet. I have to completely revamp the armor/weapon/equip system for that. I probably wont touch that until I get into converting everything to use SQL. Currently the human/elf/male/female only stuff is half assed coded and is override (so can't specify on a per item basis). There are some very ugly workarounds I can use but rather not. As world saves are increasing I also want to avoid adding extra serialized variables in base item classes. (basearmor, baseweapon etc)

Yes, this is still in the planning phase to make armor fair for every one while at the same time, giving some benefits to each class.

Don't think that works. When you morph your body value changes but your still an elf/famale/male etc... unless the code behind it is THAT bad. I honestly have not looked that much at how its setup. All I know is that its kinda half assed atm.

You're right. Just tested it and it doesn't work. It used to work, just don't know when.
