Is there anythign in khaldun dungeon that is supposed to cause this? I had fed it before I enter. I make it to some tentacles of the harrower and MIDFIGHT with the tentacles, the holy warhorse decides its better off without a master. WTF.
I was able to keep it alive and retame it, but it was the ONLY bonded pet on this account, and I KNOW for a FACT that it was wonderfully happy, because I was checking the lore on it ALOT since Im trying to get its skills trained.
I can buy another PBD and rebond it, but I don't feel thats fair, unless there is something that is supposed to make pets do this and if thats the case that shit needs changed because causing bonded pets to go wild is so beyond lame it makes me want to shit a brick if its true (I'm not saying it IS supposed to im saying if that really is the case, wtf)

I can vouch for Plastic on this. He was not spamming commands, I didn't even see him use a command since his pet was on All Guard.

Since this is REALLY cramping my style as I have come to rely on this tamer and that war horse (It Being the only pet I had on him, and it was bonded) I'm going to burn a PBD on it right now, I seriously hope it doesnt happen again, and I hope that I can have my PBD replaced, because I should have had to use it. But I'm using it now it so I can resume normal playing.

Did you have by chance some taming jewlery on, then removed it? Or did something discord you maybe? Since if your taming goes below the required to control that pet, it will go wild.

Can't think of anything with a harrower tentacle that would cause that. Has this happened against any other monster, perhaps with life leeching capabilities?

Just a side note:
I could see taming jewelry causing an issue. Jewelry is artificially raising your skill. If a player could lose a pet by being discoed, I would consider that a serious bug. Being discoed is artificially lowering your taming skill for a temporary amount of time, but the real skill number is still part of the player that could be compared against for pet purposes.

At the same time, that's pretty much the purpose of taming jewels/items. They're there to increase your taming ability which is linked to control chances.
If your jewel goes missing or you get discorded, that's a risk. Just like anyone else who gets discorded, they are vulnerable to attacks and can't use their skills to their full potential. If you decide to use your taming jewels to rely on skill and control chance, that's a risk you're taking that could end up in your pet losing loyalty.
There's no real way to avoid that either because if you don't have the natural taming skill required and are relying on jewels for the skill, if your taming goes down because of that, it'll just check your natural skill and say "Your skill is too low so your pet's no going to listen very much and may lose loyalty".
Discord's a different story because it's lowering a percent based off your current taming so we might be able to put in a check to see by which factor the skill was reduced by (Or just store the original value somewhere). This is easier said then done though because loyalty is affected by numerous different factors involved in taming and lore skill so trying to make a pet keep its loyalty while the tamer is discorded and at the same time, having the pet ignore some of your commands at low taming skill might be tricky to pull off.

Best bet if your discorded is try not to control your pet too much. Like if you have 120 + jewls you can make up for the loss as well.
Though i want to make it so pets dont go wild as quick if bonded.

Chance to tame and control a pet is very different than bonding with a pet. I could see not being able to control your pet or something if you are discoed, but not lose the pet altogether.

As mentioned before, if you don't have the skill to control the pet, it affects your pet's loyalty as well so they're interconnected. Like red mentioned earlier, he can make it so bonded pets don't lose loyalty as quickly.

well i have experianced a problem similar to this. I have had bonded beetles go wild while following my harvester around. But I have several non bonded ones, and non of them have ever done that, i have even dismounted one, left him standing somewhere, logged off, and got back on the next day and he was still sitting there waiting on me. I have to kinda agree with plas, there seems to be some kind of glitch with the whole bonding tag. Cus i have recreated the problem again with bonded pets, when the non bonded ones never turn. And my harvester seldom ever gives an order, the beetles mainly stay in strict follow mode.

Hmm k there might be something up in that sense. We'll take a look at it.
