Wands

So far I've found a few wands, some are blessed, some aren't, not sure if they are all supposed to be one or the other. The real bug though, is that in AoS, the only wands that spawned were:
heal
gheal
ma
fball
lightning

on here, we also have:
clumsy
weaken
feeblemind
IDENTIFICATION (i have a blessed, 150 charge one, which serves no purpose).

Actually the non blessed are probably old ones, I'll have to do a global.

Also whatever was already coded is what spawns, odd they went and added others, but not really a huge issue.

I just found out though that wands being "mage weapons" are actually suppose to act like looted mage weps, so they can drop as -31 and stuff like that. So that might change. Will go by chest level. So the high level ones will drop mage -0.

yea, on osi they were first just plain /w charges. then they made them sc-1 with mage wep. i think it would be neat if we had it on here random chance to have sc, sc-0, mage wep 0-29. Would make the sc-0 mage wep 0 super rare....especially since i've done maybe 40 chests so far and gotten 3 wands, and all 3 were junk charges hehe, will take a while.

Indentification wands have long since been retired. They were useful back when item identification was useful in determining if a looted item was cursed/hexed. They were already existant in the wand code from the old days hence why they still drop today.

Yeah think I'll do the sc -1/0 stuff as well as mage wep -nn.

Also I think I'll make it so talisman recharge tools also recharge wands. Maybe up to like 25 charges or something.

Wait with id and shite useless WTF does the skill do now? And why would anyone put it on their template (Not like anyone ever did before but hey just wondering if they killed it for the two people ever that did).

And question two, if item identification (the skill) really is as completly useless as it sounds. Then will it be among the less used skills that you find some way to encourage people to put on a template? (Like was done with Arms lore) I dunno bout you but Item Id sounds prime for something (Maybe slightly boosting the minimum intensity you can craft with a runic)

Not boosting but causing a gump where you can pick 1-2 of the properties you can craft on your item.

J/k.... kinda... I mean like I want Hit Lightning and Hit Fireball + however many random ones I can get with Val Runic + theres gunna be DI from exptional bonus..... Ouch........

Something that has been requested by MANY and MANY and MANY and MANY and MANY of the smiths of OSI.

Check the fourms. I know even when the new intensities get added(like here) a few are not even going to burn decent runics till something like this gets added.

Course it doesnt take us 3+ years here to get a Val runic.

Just cuz someone asks for it doesnt make it not gimp. Never underestimate the stupidity of people in large numbers.

And requested doesn't necisarily mean added.

Funny you should mention that. A few days ago I made a list of all the skills and ways to improve them. Think I might have missed item ID though.
