ive seen a few people on the valor shard, but, no-one ever speaks. I have a few questions.

1: how do you global ingame chat, besides using the UO chat window? Is there a command like "chat hi" or something?

2: I rolled a blacksmith, but, i cant find any guides and i didnt see anyone to quest.

sorry if this post seems noobish, ive never touched UO before, always played muds. UO is considerably different, and has really been giving me fits tring to learn it solo, with no one to ask questions to or follow.

Hi! welcome to Age of Valor. Just type [c then space then message for global chat. You can also view players who are online by typing [c then hit enter. I can give you assistance and a few tips on how to start in this game. Just look for Loial, Moiraine, Lanfear or Faile.

Hey glad you joined in, I'll try to find you sometime and show you around and such.

http://uo.stratics.com has lot of good information on UO, as well. The site is a pita to navigate though, sometimes its easier to type something like "blacksmithy uo stratics" in google to find something specific.

Whats your char in game? I can try to help you out when Im on. I can teach you some of the basics to being a crafter on this shard. Since the new runic changes a good crafter is quite useful here. We have changes that have yet to hit OSI yet. So we are a good month or two ahead of them
