Ok, this is purely an aesthetic suggestion. I know that on OSI (damn them), lamposts can come in a variety of hues. None of which can be dyed as such with any tokuno dyes.

My suggestion is to add a list of potential hues to the stealables database. Make them extremely rare as well as unobtainable by any sort of dying means. Perhaps this would increase the resolve of theifs to actually get out there and take some things that aren't theirs.

Hmm thats not a bad idea actually, and would most likely not be hard to do.

Couple of those exist. It takes a very specialized item like a lamp post or suit of armor to spawn with a nice, rare hue. Not everything would look good (IE: saddle, lol). Last I checked the lamp posts can spawn in metal hues like valorite and such (Although now that I think about it, I should probably check that. Runuo has a bad habit of not finishing code). I'll take a look around the dungeons and see which stealables would fall best in this category. If you have suggestions, I'm all ears.

Cool. Here's a list of the stealables and what hue might look good with the graphic.

Doom:
Bottle: Not quite sure, although I'm sure nearly any hue would work well here.
Brazier: Perhaps the same hues that the lampost can spawn with.
Cocoon and Egg Case: Maybe different shades of green
Hanging Leather/Studded Armor: The shades of special leathers
Rock: The hues of all the ores
Skull Candle: Like the bottle, lots of hues could work well with this one
Stretched Hide: The shades of special leathers

Tokuno
Baskets: Any variety of colors would look ok with these graphics
Fan and Triple Fan: I can't think of anything specific
Large Paintings: Like the fans, I can't think of anything specific
Sake: Red, Deep Purple, Deep Green, Brown
Fish Sculpture: Blue, White, Light Red, Yellow
All other Sculpture graphics: The shades of ore/ingots
Empty Sword Displays: Perhaps the shades of the woods
Full Sword Displays: Not sure about this. If only the swords have the hue, then almost any will work. If only the base has the hue, than the wood colors. If the whole thing takes the hue, then leave them as is.
Tower Lantern: Not sure on any specific color, but this would definitely look nice with a special hue

Khaldun
Blood Pool: I'd say it's fine the way it is, unless you want to add in some other hues to make it look like some other kind of blood.
Barrel: The colors of the woods
Stone Face: The color of the ores
Demon Skull: Different shades of brown or gray

I only mentioned the ones that I think could look good with in other hues. Many of the others already have plenty of colors in the graphic and/or a different hue would make the name of the item look weird.

Anyways, that's what I think.

Doom:
Bottle: Sure
Brazier: Maybe
Cocoon and Egg Case: No
Hanging Leather/Studded Armor: I like the leather idea
Rock: Maybe if it doesn't end up looking funny
Skull Candle: No
Stretched Hide: Maybe

Tokuno
Baskets: No
Fan and Triple Fan: Would look bad in the dungeons
Large Paintings: Would also look bad in the dungeons
Sake: Not really
Fish Sculpture: This could probably work
All other Sculpture graphics: This is also viable
Empty Sword Displays: Not a bad idea, good thinking
Full Sword Displays: Would affect the whole sword display unfortunately. Would not look very nice tbh.
Tower Lantern: They look kinda nasty hued imo

Khaldun
Blood Pool: Possibly different shades of red. Only red blood though because of the area they spawn in.
Barrel: Maybe, but rather unlikely
Stone Face: Maybe, but also rather unlikely
Demon Skull: I yellowish tinge or blackish decay hue would be possible

Alright, you kind of bashed some of my ideas, but that's cool, since I never actually checked to see if they were viable.

I can understand your point of that they would not look nice in the dungeons. But there is one that I'd like to refute, the egg sac. More specifically, the cocoon. There was an OSI event item called the "Terathan Egg Sac" that was the same graphic as the cocoon. It was hued a light, pukish green, and in my opinion, looked fantastic. Here is a link to how it looked. http://www.bricities.com/tuo/s03atl.html

Aside from that, I agree with you. I based most of my opinions on memory alone and didn't try out anything, so what you say I'll accept as true. Of course, these are only my ideas, none of which I truly believe will make it in-game (unless, of course, one of my ideas was good).

P.S. The demon skull. What I was shooting for was shades of decay, so what you said works fantastically.

Ya, most of them were great ideas but a couple of the suggestions were a bit off. In some dungeons, it's best to keep a theme going and hueing some items would draw away from that theme (For example, a blaze colored fan in the dojo would look exceptionally bad).

For hues, it not only has to be an uncommon spawn, but at the same time, it has to look natural in a dungeon.
