FCR for mage spells?

I know you guys put in an extra delay for mage spellcasting. Wasn't it something like 0.5 second delay? Well I was trying to macro stuff so I equipped myself with 2/6 and tried to spam clumsy on myself. It turns out that I can't put any less than a 1.1 second pause between tries, otherwise it says the "you have not recovered from casting" message. My dex is low (20) but my stam is at 100%. I know on Demise I could do this with only a 0.20 second pause between tries with no problem. And if I tried to go below a 0.20 second pause, it would never actually give me a "not recovered" message, it would just fizzle sometimes.

So then I tried it with 2/9 and also 3/8 casting and got the same result. Is something broken or did you really add ~1 casting second delay?

UO Valor, you have to have 50 Dex to have a 0.5 cast time, I believe.

Yeah at 40 stam your FCR will be normal, but at 20 it will be cut in half basically.

Ok, I just want to make absolutely sure. So you're saying that at 40 stamina, you get normal FC/FCR. This is a fixed value, meaning if I have 100 dex and 40 stamina remaining, I'm still good, right?

yep, so I would say go with a bit over 40 dex to be safe, but as long as your stamina is 40 or higher you get normal casting. Only thing cast times are capped at 0.3 but thats only noticable if you try to spam spells. I made a mage so I can test these changes for myself as well. It's basically to help slow down casting a bit since with low ping it's too easy to just machine gun your way through matrix style.
