New Bod System

This new bod system is kinda fucked up. 405 Spined Leather for a pair of sandals? WTF 200 barbed leather for a HRSK? What does it take to get a fuckin' BRSK? 1k Barbed only?

The barbed will give brsk, but like the old bod system, its chance based, so you're just getting unlucky. The thing with tailoring theres not many prizes like smithy and such, theres more crappy ones like sandals. Eventually as we think of more prizes we'll add them in.

Maybe it would be better then if the higher the skill the higher the chances of a good/colored bod. Say 120 tailoring has more chances to get barbed, but no less than spined.

Actually thats not a bad idea, I can maybe look at consolidating some of the crappy prizes into the same randomize, then it just has its own randomizer.

Not true, all the bods that gave brsk's /w the old system ALWAYS gave brsks. Only lower end bowd have a chance of givving cloth OR sandals, smith low end bods would give Gloves OR tool. 90% of the high end bods /w the old system always gave the same rewards, only a few would give like hammer OR 115/120 ps for smithy.

Yeah but getting the small bods to fill the big were chance based, and VERY low chance at that. If you think of all the possible things you can craft times the number of leathers times the number of bod types (10 15 20 etc) the odds of getting the right one were ridiculously small.

Using Demise as a basis you could assume about every 50-100. It averaged out to one BRSK bod per 50 or so reset bods handed in.

As for credibility, I have gotten about 10 or so BRSKs in my stay at Demise and currently have 48 or so BRSK bods on my mule still.

yea, did bods for about 2 years on demise and was probably the best known crafter, the hand of god. But i'd say the old system is better than this new system. The new system looks cool and is a good idea, but so far doing all my quests and getting stuff like oak runics (practically like doing work for shadow runic) that takes much longer to get the boards for the quest, than the SMALL BOD it takes to get a shadow runic, if that makes sense.

Was my first crafter on there. King Philly (PSZ) gave me 120 smithy when I joined for playing on his old server for so long. Had also flogged off some bod rewards at Broadsides auction when he was doing them.

My crafter was Mastercraft. The only crafter in Demise who could sell a wedge of cheese and wine in a picnic basket for 2500gp. "Fine solen wine of minoc" must sound like a rare artifact, but in reality drops on solens.
