I don't want to release the 6.0.5.0 patch until I see that its fully working.

I'd like people to backup their current client, then update, then open razor and pick in the drop down the fully updated client, and try to connect to icetekshq.ath.cx 1337 and in shard list pick TC1. If you make it to char list, it works. (do log in completely to be extra sure)

I'm planing to release this patch along with gaunt map fixes at SW.

My client is 6.0.5.0. Works fine on both main and TC1, as well as other shards.

I never have networking issues, it's my job to troubleshoot them :). The reason you don't see me in TC1 list is because I used iceteks login server, but chose valor as the server to connect to. Here are my connection results with the 6.0.5 client:

- login to icetekshq.ath.cx, access TC1 or Valor - works
- login to login.uovalor.com, access TC1 or Valor - doesn't work

This to me is as expected. login.uovalor.com should start working with the 6.0.5 client tonight after SW.

Also note that it has problems at the verifying account screen. Have to go back then click the > button again.

If you connect directly to icetekshq.ath.cx then pick TC1?

Hmmm k thats not good then. So far your the only person having issues though, but I'll wait and see if theres more.

So just want to double check

You set razor to icetekshq.ath.cx 1337 before, then chose TC1 in server list, right?

If thats the case maybe try repatching, just want to rule out client issues. You have to update razor as well but everyone should already be updated by now.

Okay, I love IRC fights as anyone, but this is getting rediculous (spelling ololo? (imdrunk ololo)(its the best state to say some OPINIONS tho).

so my humble request is, someone make a guide for us internetically challenged to dual client, cause just tried to use two clients (6050 and 6040) and neither worked properly (demise and valor). Valor one (6040 at the time of testing) said i didnt have mondains legacy. Now theres an idea for the player guide board.

(btw, i love brackets).

Here is a 10-step process for you:

Step 1: Back up your client directory
Step 2: Patch to 6.0.5.0
Step 3: Launch Razor and make sure it is updated to v1.0.10
Step 4: Enter "icetekshq.ath.cx" in the "Server" field
Step 5: Enter "1337" in the "Port" field
Step 6: Make sure "Patch client encryption" is checked
Step 7: Make sure "Use OSI Encryption" is unchecked
Step 8: Log in to your account
Step 9: In the shard list, select "Age of Valor"
Step 10: Select your character

Congratulations, you are logged in with the latest client. If following these steps does not work, there is something wrong with your client or Razor or both.

Yes. You can tell Razor what folder your client you want to use is in. Name your old client with its version number at the end, and keep your current client as-is. When you open Razor point it to the folder related to the version you want.

Step 11: Change UO Data Directory to the backed up client folder.

Squirrel: Okay. I suppose it's just regular server that gets buggered at verifying account.

Yeah regular will right now.

One thing I DID notice with this update is the login process is way faster. So something tells me this fixed the passive packet error there was, where sometimes it would get stuck sometimes not.
