Hail. I have been thinking on this for quite some time. Roleplayer Robes, awarded to winners of events in the Role Players catagory.

Of course I am thinking of Death Robes as the roleplayer robe, but I am hoping a new design would be created for this. (Since near everyone on Valor uses a Death Robe already and there are alot of different traits on each robe created)

Each robe has particullar attributes design for templates, such as HPI, HP Regen, Dex, Stam, Str, Int, MI, Mana Regen, ect.

Unfortuantly, that is all I have atm and hopefully the GM's can show support and see what is possible.

As for everyone else. Post your own ideas on this subject. Who knows. We may be getting some good equipment just for being a roleplayer.

Even Reco.

Roleplaying and trying to create items is a tricky task. I've thought about that a long time ago when I had a more official position on a more official shard. Long story short, roleplaying is more of a theme and character or group of characters that stick to a theme. You can't really make a single item or even a small group of items and call them roleplaying items here. On the flip side, it would be interesting to make a roleplaying guild, that has a theme and goals in the Valor world, but with the smaller population it would be hard to get a lot involved. If such a group were to get something like this going, it could be a niche market on it's own to attract more players. From a staff point of view, they would need a Seer that did nothing but create little mini quests and stuff to promote roleplaying, and maybe started creating quests with more of a roleplay theme in mind, but non needed yet. It would require players themselves to commit to roleplaying and staying in characters based around actual themes.

If the playerbase picks up, we may decide to add in the guildtown idea that was brought up. Guild towns get special bonuses for guildmembers and one of them could be guild color + look. It would be a suit that would be blessed for members in the guild (To keep a uniform, guild look).

lol CTF is in the works, but thats not going to happen overnight. Give us at least a month or two to wrap up the stuff in progress, and another few weeks, maybe months to code the actual CTF system.

hehe Red Squirrel and Blizzard follow the same motto I guess. "We'll get it done! ...eventually"

I still kinda like Reco's idea of event clothing for winners though. The way we could do it "eventually" lol, is to reward points to players who participate in events. Things like "Scoring a goal in CTF, retrieving a flag in ctf, etc" would reward points to the player. When they reach a certain amount of points, they can get trophies and event robes/sashes with their name on it. Nothing like an artifact or anything, but bragging rights basically. There would also be event boards around that would show the best players.

I'd like to have a scoring system once we get into MySQL stuff. Like we could have a web page with high scores and what not.
