Ok, when you fish up a serpent, you have a chance at getting a MiB, a special net, or a treasure map. I was wondering if the treasure map one could be fiddled with.

As it is, if you fish up a map, it is a level 1 map. The odd thing is, if you get a map in loot from a sea serpent, it is a level 3 map. Regardless, I think that the usefullness of these things is not equal. A level one map is horrid (in my opinion), compared to a MiB and/or a special net.

I was wondering if either this could be changed to a better map or if this item could be changed to something else.

Also, I was wondering what the rate of fishing up white pearls is. I've gotten one in over 300 casts. Is this the rate that is intended? Or am I just unlucky?

Yeah white pearl is suppose to be rather hard to get, almost like an arty while fishing. Most recipes that need it only require like 1 though, I think.

And yeah treasure chests suck in loot, I could look into making them more worthwhile.

300 casts for a white pearl is about right. It's not supposed to be an easy thing to get as some rather nice recipes might require it (Example: Pendant of the Magi). Rare gems and such may take a while to find.
