To help me get an idea of the performance of the new system, I'd like everyone to post what quests they get (resource and amount) and what their reward was for doing that quest.

So post in this format:

Material:
Amount:
Reward:

With this I'll get an idea of if things are too easy or too hard to get. Also let me know how long it took to get the resources, in average.

If I see things are way off I'll setup a logging system to get more info and tweak as needed.

First one was 350 boards then made 2 higher items got a sturdy axe. -urrg
Second one can not complete it
It wants 155 frostwood -- now lumberjacked over 10k logs of various kinds only 20 frostwood logs. Heck I collected 70 bark, 17 switchs, 15 luminscient fungi, 7 parasitic plants, and a brillant amber. I dont think I will ever get the logs to find out what it gives as a reward.

yeah frostwood drop has been tweaked and I might continue to tweak it till its right, the rates are off. Don't cancel that quest whatever you do, thats one of the highest ones and can get you a frostwood runic kit.

spined is level 30/100 so is kinda low, tailoring is real tricky since theres only 3 types of leather, so spined is like dull copper, while horned is like bronze and barbed is like valorite. And theres no rare tailoring resources which makes this even trickier. Though the bonus with tailoring and smith is you get a bod so you can reset the timer right away and do another and hope you get barbed quest.

Spined leather is easy to get mind you. Better rewards will be put into the system a bit later.

What I'll try for next SW is removing the 5 cloth rewards and adding just 1 or 2 that randomizes the level (theres 5 different cloth levels).

I wouldn't consider reward cloth and 1 charge powder a "nothing" reward. Considering how rare powder is. (was?) I've gotten 4 one charge powders so far and I'm pumped up, that's 40 more HP for some piece of equipment I need powered up. And reward cloth, well that stuff is just plain cool. There are some great colors out there. But if you don't care for the colors, only for the uber rewards, then use the free cloth to fill your resets so you can do bod quests faster.

i play a tamer i never get hit to loose item durability so powder is useless for me, also already have blessed cloaks in the colors i want so the cloth is equally as useless for me cant even use it for resets sinse all the resets im gettin are leather/bone :( bring out the runic kits >D

Just like the bod system before, you'll eventually get a runic kits. But for now we need to be content with those dryad green sandals :P.

Yeah got to keep in mind how hard it was before. It should be about as hard, but easier in a different way. With this system, you don't have to be a scripter to have a chance. The other bod system pretty much requires you to have high knowledge of easyuo if you want to actually get runics. Or do it all manually and spend pretty much all day filling thousands of bods.

This system was actually to stop afk scripters, as it takes away from those who actually play. Now its more involved so its probably easier to just do it, then write a script for it. Those hornet nests are nasty too. I hit one the other day with my lumberjack. :P

I find it funner too tbh. So I only got a sturdy axe from that oak deed, but still it was a rather nice thing to have.
