Update [Oct 28 07] - new bod system + more

*When crafting weapons, if you get a masterpiece weapon, it will not have any DMI bonus from special woods, arms lore, etc. Also it will not be exeptional and be of regular material.

* Reptalons can now spawn in different hues (tokuno pigment colors and ores).

* Newly tamed AWs will be 4 slots but get less of a resistance penalty then the existing ones a few updates ago.

* When lumberjacking, there is a small chance to hit a hornet's nest. Be safe, be aware! :P

*The new bod system has been released! Note that it is still considered beta and things may be changed such as reward odds and such.

Report any bugs you may find or suspect with the new bod system. If you are found abusing a bug with the new system for personal gain, there will be serious consequences. If you report bugs, we can fix them and make the system better so it's in your best interest.

System's been up for one day in its beta stages. Red said he'll increase the drop rate of those resources a tad.

Thats been a known bug for a long time, it was in the bug list. I just got around to doing it now. Having 50 DMI on a wep by default removed the purpose of detriment powder.

Not sure why people would leave over that, this system only exists here afterall.

That was a bug and was never supposed to happen. Reason being, it removed the need for detriment powder, thus giving a weapon more points than it was supposed to have (Normally, to get that DMI which is a common property, you would need to use a good 22 detriment powder, thus giving you 22 points on top of that which you crafted). Also, it lowers the value of the masterpiece weapons you can get from supremes and peerless which will have more points.

I wouldn't say that I'm for or against the change, but to add to this a bit:
It means that runic hammers and stuff as far as weapons go only be valuable towards enhancing looted items, and not so much for crafting weapons. Why bother when you can just make a masterpiece weapon and do whatever you want that way. Runics will only be worth it for enhancing normal looted weapons, and of course making runic armour.

Because it takes time to get all the resources you need to make the perfect masterpiece weapon, not to mention you have to find a weapon with the number of points you will need. There are some resources that aren't common and will take awhile to find as well. Getting that runic hammer may take less time to find, but you won't always get what you want out of it.
