I'm installing this program called Microsoft System Center Essentials, and you should see the steps involved in setting that up. Like Wow. I have a 3 page document so far in documentation. It takes about a day to install. No joke.
This is like a $2,000 program too. I'm testing this deployment at work.

Reason for getting it?

oh its for where I work, they want to set this up for monitoring customer servers.
If it was my choice, I'd code it in-house but the company does not really like custom code that's in house, instead they outsource to this company that uses super crappy coding techniques and it takes them 6 months to do anything.
I did write an Outlook launcher program for citrix a year back but it had to be approved and all that, and since it was not major it got through. Now they use that on a lot of customer sites, since it saves from having to create a profile for each user. Auto configures their exchange settings and stuff. If outsourced, they'd probably still be waiting for it now. It took me about a day to code it.
