I'm skinny too. Thats why I've been working out, and its actually working. I went from size 28 to size 29 for jeans.
Also, eat all the poutine and burgers you can, mind you that part is not working for me. Chocolate covered almonds are one of my addictions lately. 400g bag goes down in a night or two.

to the uber skinny people: wait until you hit 25, then you'll actually have to work at it. from 16-24 I weighed 125 lbs and when I hit 25 I jumped up to 175 over 2 months which actually makes me look a damn sight healthier but now I kinda have to exercise so I dont become a fatass

Haha in a couple years: "revenge of the metabolism!" thats when I have to actually watch how much I eat. But meanwhile, may as well enjoy it.
*opens up another bag of dark chocolate covered almonds*

funny thing is, if you're in the uk i've read quite a few news reports recently on the obesity problem over there as well, which is running quite rampant

Actually the UK is suffering from obesity just as badly as the US. And I went from 125lbs to 150lbs; that's 25lbs of muscle from being in Crew (rowing) at college for 2 years and working out twice a day 6 days a week. Then again I wasn't born/raised in the US...

Yeah working out is great for gaining weight. I gained about 5 pounds since I started working out. My goal is to hit around 140ish which is about what I should be at. On this one machine thats a pulley where you pull down the weights I'm pulling down 70 pounds, if I bright the weights too high I'll be pulling myself up instead LOL

Eating a mcdonald's burger is like eating a play-doh pancake. Highly decorative, squishy and about the same amount of nutrients. Only thing play-doh has over it is the ability to come in various shades of neon colors (Oh wait....maybe Mc D's does ha....)
