I put a small house next to the Gate Library with the intent of making a Rune Library. I can use help from anyone willing. I am looking for a couple volunteers to help make this happen.
The list of places such as towns and dungeons will be easy enough. We'll want to try to fill it out with treasure map locations and popular spawn locations as they pertain to Age of Valor as well.
I imagine it will take maybe a few weeks or more to get this done, but it will be more useful as time goes on. Eventually, I'd like to even phase out some of the need for the gate library as this run library will be much more extensive and something that can be managed by players. The only gates we might still want or need are to places that players can't actually mark runes to.
*** Anyone who has played on Demise knows how useful a rune library can be.

I'm guessing these are fel/tram only, but do treasures even happen outside of those facets?

I don't think they happen anywhere else, but yes... those coords will help.

If ya need Dumples, I can use one of the online indexes of t-map spots and start making books of them. I know the Goodman's site has all of the runes numbered and pictures of the maps. So if a player reads one, he can look up the picture and it will show you exactly where it is (screenshot and sextant coordinates). I'm sure there are other sites that do this, but Goodman's is the only one I've ever used.
Just let me know and I'll get started.

Yeah sure... that would be cool. I know UOAM comes with a T-Map file as well. Can just go down the list from it.
Oh FYI -
I'm looking at making a small section for players to runes to there own house vendors as well. Free advertising.

Yeah I was checking out the runebooks on your stairs yesterday. That's the general idea that I want for the towns, but all of them in all facets. I don't know if you want to help with this and continue making books like that for my rune library. Otherwise, I'll get around to them myself in the evenings.
I'll get around to decorating the little plot I made as well, but I don't want to use up too many lockdowns until I get a better idea of how many runebooks there will be. Also, for the couple that will be helping, I'll make you co-owners as well so you can lockdown or drop the books in sorted containers. I've got a runebook dye tub so the books can be color coded. I've get on my scribe tonight and try to make a whole bunch of runebooks. I figure we'll easily go through like a hundred or more once we do all the treasure locations, major town spots, dungeon locations that can be marked, and other various points of interest.

Yeah the biggest challenge for this will be the t-maps. Sailing to all the islands and such.
my advice, get a LOT of trammel/fel moonstones. So when you're marking the tram ones, you can go to fel, mark the fel one, and right back again for the next map.

I should have about half of the Tram t-maps by the end of tonight. I'm not so worried about getting to the Fel island maps because I've got a bunch of runes to them already so I could have shortcuts to MiB spots.

Sounds good. Every damned t-map would be quite a chore. I'd be willing to finish out the tram maps and I'll lend my fel island runes to Cho if she needs them and is willing to knock out that part.
Or if Cho has already done a bunch of tram map runes, then I'll head over to Fel and work on those.

Is this the map and numbering system that everyone is using for labeling and making runes to T-Maps?

I'd have to see how you're labeling and/or numbering them.
THe stratics system seems easier, but I don't want to waste time.

I'll look into the stratics system. I've only marked around 35-40 of the tram islands so far, so it wouldn't be that much of a set-back to change how I'm doing it.
As for how I'm labeling them so far. I'm just going 1,2,3....
With the Goodman system, when you decipher a map, you go to the site and click on if it's island or mainland. Let's say it's on Bald Island (the first one in his system). You click on that island and another picture pops up with all of the possible locations on that island. They are labeled 1-4. If the #3 pin on his map is the same location as yours, then click on Map 3. It then takes you to a screenshot and coordinates.
I'll look into the stratics system later and if it does look easier, I'll switch.

Alright, I just checked out the stratics system. I'm gonna start over and follow that one, it seems easier. It shouldn't be too hard since I've already got runes to most of them. Any that I missed I can just re-name and put back in the book.

Don't need to remark the ones you got... just have to relabel them. No traveling involved.
Cho is working on the towns. I'm going to start with the Dungeons tonight when I get home, and then get started on the Fel T-Maps.

Nexus is really moving along on those t-map spots.
I got a couple of Trammel dungeons done, has some difficulty with a teleporter that squirrel was able to fix. I figure a few a night and they'll be done in a reasonable time. The Felucca dungeons will be easy since there are less places to mark for them. Doom will take a bit since I plan to mark all the stealable locations as well. Cho already has some towns mostly done.
Last part is partially a bug that Squirrel is aware of and is going to look into fixing related to runebooks.
Making good progress though.

Yeah for now dont lock down or secure rune books since people can modify them. It's fixed on TC1 I just have to test today when I get home and it *should* go live today along with other misc fixes.

I did Fel and Tram shrines as well as the spots for the Naturalist quest. Later on I'll begin on the Fel T-maps (unless someone has already started on them).
Find me in-game Dumples and I'll pass the books on to you.
*edit: Oh, and the teleports between the islands of Jhelom are broken in Trammel. Not sure about Felucca because I haven't gone there to test them.

It's been a busy week at work so Ihavent gotten as far as I like. I think after this weekend I'll have more time again to get stuff going again full swing. I have not started Fel t-maps yet so go for it. I figure while I'm working on Dungeons, and I get to Doom, I'll mark the major stealables as well.
The runebooks seem to work better now. Cho, I went to your house to one of the runebooks there to test this. I could open up and use the book I tried, but wasn't able to steal runes from it.
