Heh, so here I am, going through the access logs and referrer info for the three domains that I run and I'm finding that some images and whatnot are appearing in people's MySpace pages, etc. Looks like Google crawlers have added images I host on my main domain (digitalthoughtmachine.com) to GoogleImages and have thus provided a means for people to link them. I'm not concerned about the bandwidth leeching (my hosting plan allows for a lot more bandwidth than I'm currently using), but it brings about some interesting possibilities as far as spreading memes and so forth, with minimal effort.



Hmmm^^ was looking at the smilie list here and I've got one named after me. Muahaha!

Hmm with htaccess I believe you can make images appear differently if they don't come from your domain. You can make people's myspace filled with gay porn or something. The hardest part of coding that is to, find the gay porn.

Apache’s mod_rewrite will rewrite URLs based on referrer (Google query), assuming you use Apache.

If I were to do that (which I'm not, and won't), I'd just Google "gay porn" and go from there. Couldn't be that hard. Not that I'm going to try to find out if it's easy. I'm just guessing.

You could always go with the classic goatse ubgirl. That or Naruto yoai.

Mind you, I'd probably go with something a little more subtle, like My Little Ponies or Colin Mochrie.
