Old news, in fact, aparantly it broke down not too long ago and it takes a month to unfreeze it so they can work on it then another month to refreeze it.

Comes to show, it does not matter how much you pay for something, stuff today is just made cheap. Probably got lot of parts from China that's why. :P


I wonder if its possible to build a desk size version of one of these, would make for a fun office toy.

other than the fact that it would be louder than hell to use it and it might explode, sure.
If you can have a desk sized LHC, then i should be able to have a desk sized nuclear reactor.
