But I would have to add you as a friend to see your pictures and I don't have a myspace page. I did get a facebook page a few weeks ago, but that doesn't help me any. You'll just have to post your pictures in the picture thread.

My wife is on there only to keep in touch with some of her old friends she never sees anymore.
Not posting that link here obviously
And that uncyclopedia page fits a good portion of them out there.
Where in Florida is Bradenton, Flowergirl? I spent three years in Jax and a great deal less time in Orlando during my Nuke School time.

I definitely prefer the 'pay for my own hosting with full control' option. All of those ads and eyeclutter on pages like myspace that help pay for it are beyond annoying. On a related note, I really do not understand how people have the solid black pages on there.

Yes I do know where the Tampa/St. Pete area is
edit: I finally looked on Google Earth and that looks like a suburb like Gresham or Tigard is in the Portland area

I'm forced by my friends to have a myspace and facebook. 1/2 hate facebook and the other half hate myspace. So I have both myspace and facebook..
I also can't seem to find it on google map but i'm pretty sure i've driven through those places Cisco_Kid.

1. I have no idea what that picture is.
2. Facebook is a lot better than MySpace.

I'm having the same difficulties, I see 'ally's' page, and that you need a hug, but when I enter, it asks me to 'login or register'
I have neither facebook nor myspace account. I will not get them either, for 2 reasons
1. online friends are actually only met through internet
2. I talk to real life friends in person
3. huge security risk.
I might offer a little advice, do not put you address down, do not include your occupation, try not to include anything that can 'track' you down, or might be used as an identiy theft. ( you are young for identity stealing, but there is still a risk )
I hate to spoil fun, but the risks far outweigh any benefits. I do enjoy finally getting to see the real 'flowergil' but do be careful, and if you cannot open the page for us, then I would set it back to private *invite' only
btw, I can't count *2 reasons, but 3 are listed

3. huge security risk.
1. Most people join Facebook or MySpace and become "friends" with their real friends. Not people they randomly meet on the internet.
2. It's kind of hard to do that when you are hundreds (or thousands) of miles away from each other. It's a very good way to stay in contact with friends.
3. Only if you're an idiot. I know for Facebook, you can limit who sees your profile down to only your friends, not even your networks. The security risk is way overblown.

Two of my 30 friends are just random internet people. That is, if Gubs counts as a "random" internet person. I added him so I could view his pictures that he linked to in another thread. Also, another person with my name randomly asked me to add him as a friend. I saw that he had 58 other friends with the same name, so I added him, but only after asking him a question in a personal message, just to see if he would take the time to answer, which he did.

I'm friends with Carbon Leaf (the band) on Facebook because they have news updates on their profile.
And you must have a very common name.

I think if I just registered for the forum, then i'd be random. I've been here for a year'ish. All the regulars are just you(Bookworm), Cisco, Red, Clueless, GG, Reaper, Stasi, Scherzo, Flowergirl, Manadren, Mindy, Chris, Fragged, and Robo. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
EDIT
I have a myspace and facebook because about 10 of my friends hate facebook. The rest hate myspace.
