So my computer is making a weird noise. Best way I can describe it to you is a humming sound that goes up and down. It sounds like its coming from the power supply area. Talked to my brother and he thinks it could be a loose screw in the power supply and the metal is just vibrating it. Theres no dust clogging up the CPU fan. I got a recording of it, its kind of hard to make out the sound but its there.
I got two recordings, second one is kind of goes off pattern.

I'm at work so I did not check the sounds, but from the description it sounds like it could be a fan that has shot ball bearings. PSU fans are common for that since they usually stick a really cheap crappy one in there. I'll check the sounds when I get home I might make out something.
Could also be vibration specially if its a thin aluminum case they tend to vibrate sometimes.

The case is pretty nice, its a Antec Sonota 2. The weird noise is off and on. Sometimes it will make it and other time it will sound fine.

Yeah definatly sounds like a fan, what you can do is while the pc is on and the noise is happening stop one fan at a time to try and rule out to fans.
Though what can be tricky is a fan could be causing a vibration somewhere else, so changing the fan wont help. But to check for vibrations just put your hand on different parts of the case to see if it stops.
My VM server has this vibration to it sometimes, its actually the case itself that vibrats from the 4 HDDs that are in there.
