Funpidgin

I don’t use Pidgin and don’t keep up with its development, but a group of developers have forked it, starting Funpidgin.
I’m not making judgments, but I’m glad the Funpidgin folks have the option of forking, although such a reliance on the users’ opinions makes me wary. (Users are not designers, and neither are developers.)

This came about after Pidgin refused to allow manual text-field resizing, apparently the latest in a string of accusations that the lead developers develop for themselves rather than for the users.http://funpidgin.sourceforge.net wrote: What makes us different from the official client, is that we work for you.
