Brotherly love!

4 weeks ago I lost my voice because my brother was sick and stayed for the weekend. It was possibly laryngitis that lasted 2 weeks of not having a voice or being able to speak. The following week I felt great, got my voice back and everything. Then my brother came over for spring break and of course he was sick. Last few days of spring break I started getting head aches, feeling really weak but I just shrugged it off. Come monday I woke up, and was shivering so badly. I could't even open a packet of tea.
My bed was completely covered in sweat. So much that it was leaking to the bottom mattress. I got out of bed and I was completely confused as to where my door was (it blended in at the time). After a minutes I found it, then I changed my clothes and started to make breakfast. (It was just some eggs with green and red peppers with onions.) Anyway, I go to swallow the food and I instantly feel this pain, this nearly unbearable pain at the back of my throat. I ended up spitting out the eggs. Right then I knew something was up, so, I went to the doctor and they took my temperature. At first they thought their thermometer was broken so they tried it again.
They ended up taking me down to the ER and then iced me. And when I mean iced, they put bags of ice all over my body. Head, armpits, legs, groin, on top of my chest, etc. etc. It turned out I had a temperature of 104.2 degrees. So, now I go back to the hospital tomorrow for a check up and if my temperature is over 103 deg. the doctors want me to bunk at the hospital for a few days.
I just took my temperature a few moments ago and it was at 100.9 deg. You can name everything that sucks that you get when you get sick and I probably have almost all of it. I have low vitamin C so it hit me hard.

But, I still have fun. When I go to the hospital tomorrow and I get in a elevator which will be a crowded one. I'm going to try and stand right in the middle of everyone, then half way up i'm going to start dry heaving like mad. It should be epic.

Oh and my apologies if some of the stuff I said didn't make sense. When you have a high fever you get confused easily so I end up spelling the wrong word or I forget how to spell the word period, or my favorite one. I'll manage to change the subject in a sentence but still be able to talk about the original topic.

Lol, spot on Bookworm. But I don't think that will be happening again. Vitamin C tablets FTW.

But it seemed I had a mix. Fever, viral infection, really really sore throat, and the flu. Its been a fun seven days.

I’m glad you feel better. It’s amazing that just a few degrees can make such a difference.
