Well I know at least one of those is false. The 57 on heinz ketchup bottles ( and Hienz 57 sauce) has nothing to do with the varieties of pickles. Though the 57 varieties was intended to reflect the range of their product line, at the time they started using the slogan they had over 60 'varieties'. Truth is H.J. Hienz used the number 57 because he thought it was catchy, and that a catchy number has more important than the actual number of products. He was inspired to this by an ad promoting 21 styles of shoes, which he saw on a placard while riding a train in New York.

In the state of Delaware, whipping is still a punishment used by the state, but is seldom put into use.

Found some about the human body.'

Pound for pound, the human body produces 5 times more energy than the sun. (Not sure about that one but okay.)

You could cut the brain directly and not feel a thing. (Again, dunno about that one.)

The human heart produces enough pressure to squirt blood 30 feet into the air.

Your hair is almost indestructible, only fire can destroy it.

You also have approximately 100,000 hairs on your head.

One eyelash lasts 150 days.

A sneeze may produce as much speed as a caliden? (or category) five hurricane.

Your brain will continue to send electrical signals, for 37 hours after your death.

I don't think this one is true but i'll post it anyway.
During their periods, women's ring fingers shrink.

If you flattened and unfolded a set of human lungs, they would cover a tennis court.

A lot of places online say that Napoleon is César in the French version, but Amazon.fr and several online versions of La ferme des animaux refer to him as Napoléon.

That's legit. The brain itself has no pain receptors. On a side note almost all brain surgery is done while the patient is awake. This is because they need to get feedback from the patient during the procedure, i.e. if the patient is asleep, the surgeon has no idea if something has gone wrong until it's too late. They do, obviously, use local anesthesia to open up the skull and get to the brain.

On another side note, while you brain has no pain receptors, the blood vessels and membranes surrounding it do, which is what is actually hurting when you get a headache.

I stole all of those facts from some video. But my doctor brother with like his fancy ass M.D (son of a b****) said that most of them are correct, even the lung one. Possibly bigger.
