shoot! I've been ratted out! I told everyone I went to Maine to visit my ultra-hot girlfriend. lol NOT

Switzerland was really cool! we hiked 50, yes 50 miles through the Alps. we stayed at these hostels every night. the people were really nice, but seeing as they speak French AND German in Switzerland, it was a little difficult to communicate with the normal people. The transatlantic flight from Philidalphia to Zurich (the Z in Zurich has the two little dots above it, to avoid getting yelled at by people who notice) was 8 hours, with 6 hours forward jetlag, not to mention it was the red-eye flight. we took about a 3-hour flight to Philidaphia itself, then about 4hrs. 30mins. of trains to get to Verbier, where we spent night one. Two days to get there. Wow. the flight back was three flights, combining the time we stayed at airports, was twelve hours. We didn't actually finish the trail. on the last day, we were hiking this trail called the Europaweg, it was raining, (which probably caused the rockslides) and we were near the place we were to stay, when the following occured: there was a small rockslide, like a few boulders about the size of a toaster came down, broke the support rope, and took the trail down the mountain with us. thank god, no one had crossed yet, so we decided to go back. We went back, and we decided to get in front of this rock face that went up about ten feet, in case there was a bigger rockslide. Well, in about two minutes, there was. First, we heard dull thuds, and gravel sliding. well, we flattened against that rock face faster than just about anything, and ten seconds later, rocks the size of Volkswagens came down the mountain. Now, I was farthest from it, and I got the best view. Everyone was scared silent. Except me. I vocalized what everyone was thinking. In some form of scream that probably sounded like this: "HOLY SWEET JESUS IN HEAVEN!!! WE ARE ALL GONNA F***ING DIIIIIIE!!!!! OH MY GOD! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" until my friend's mom gave me a look that would have shut up a crying baby. Well, as one would think, we went back, got some hotel rooms, (I don't think I've mentioned yet, but I was with my boy scout troop of 16 people, but two people didn't go on that one.) and stayed the night. we went home two days after.

So that is my undetailed Switzerland story. If anyone has questions, please say so.

Moral of the story is: Screaming really loud causes rockslides
