I finally got around to compressing it to 100MB so I can post on youtube

Graphics intentionally suck and were made strictly in ms paint. Its to make it look like one of those low budget video games.

How many frames did it take for you to make this, how long, and with what program/file?

Hmm I had it set to 100 frames per sec, but thats theorical, think it was more like 20ish. I wish I still had the original data so I could tell you how many frames. Probably a couple thousand.

All images made in paint then imported in ulead gif animator, the final render was made in a video editing program so I can add sound (can't recall which program)

edit: wtf? why does Linux win? MS is better than Linux for one reason, World of Warcraft doesn't run on Linux. And WoW is pwnage. end of story.

LOL tbh it wont suprise me if there *IS* a wow client for Linux. Mind you WoW does not have as many 3rd party devs behind it as UO has. UO has a bunch of 3rd party clients out these days, even for Linux. None of them are really usable though, specially not for pvp.

WoW looks too kidish I find. I've never played it myself but I heard from people who played both that they prefer UO pvp. Though thats suprising since on regular UO servers the pvp sucks if admins don't maintain it properly and ensure to balance things. By default UO pvp is not all that balanced.

...First of all...check out the trailer for The Burning Crusade for WoW, then tell me it's kiddish.

Second of all, Isnt UO like....some kind of turn-based crap?

And finally, PvP on WoW is good, not amazingly-fantastically balanced, but balanced enough to give everybody a chance at surviving....unless you're 1v1 against a warlock >.> then you'd better be a fury warrior or a combat rogue or you'll get your face melted off.

Go try WoW, and i'm sure you'll like it. And you'll find it's not as "kiddish" as you think it is. The graphics may give you a bad first impression.

Nah UO pvp is not turned based lol. You'r probably thinking of the original ultima, with 16 color... not 16 bit color, but 16 color.

If anything ping is too big of a dependance in uo PVP. Some mage spells have delays of .1 so if you have <10ms ping you pretty much kill everyone or anything with a mage. I fixed that on my server though, was way too brutal.

Here's my problem with WoW. It has a monthly fee. I'v egot too much other crap sitting around that I haven't played to pay a monthly fee for another game that I won't end up playing often enough to get my money's worth out of it.

haha yeah, I'd only want to pay for a game if I actually had the time to put like 4+ hours a day and get my money's worth, and with work, that wont happen. I hardly even play uo now, just no time.
