was a port scan, nothing fun found though. When I find open ports I usually flood them with random data.

Actually, port scanning and then packetflooding them isn't very smart. You don't actually have any idea whose system it is and can get into a lot of trouble by messing with it.

I've done that plenty of times. Spammers have nothing to defend, they're just as guilty, if worse. They saturate internet pipe lines way more then my 2MB of data that I sent (thats what it turned out as after it was done)


My most successful DoS was this fake mortgate site. You DON'T spam me with a webpage that has a form on it, it's just not a smart thing to do. Lets just say they got 1mil fake mortgage applications that night...

Okay, and my first point was that you don't even know whether or not you're actually attacking the spammer. It's just a case of hotheadedness, in my opinion.

Flooding as in sending a bunch of packets (or small pieces of data) to a target PC. It has the result of stopping up or slowing down their internet connection.

The law won't do anything about spam, so it's time we as a society do something. If everyone thought the same way, we could end it.

Another thing I love to do too is track down a randomly picked spammer and continuously report him to his ISP. He keeps having to switch servers, costing him a crap load of money because of all the setup fees and broken contracts. The ones that piss me off the most are the fake financial companies. They try to take advantage of people who are desperate and can't get credit from a real financial institution. But really, who would get a mortgage or buy pills from someone who can't even spell their own product's name?

Sucks though, they're actually learning to close their ports these days, before you could find a sub7 trojan and other really cool stuff to connect to. Port scans are usually reletively useless.

Oh spammers deserve everything bad they can get. Those are people who suck up every system they get at the advantage of others. They're most likely on welfare or living in the parants basement and are unwilling to get an education or get a job so they live off other's expense. Some also scam people with fake medications they mix in their basement with random cleaning agents and people die and such. Everything they do is fake, and is soly to annoy people and waste disk space and bandwidth.

I forget what company made a screen saver that DoSes spammers, but I fully support em, too bad the law can't look at spam as being as harmful, if worse, then any other form of hacking. These people just won't quit, they always return and its growing like a plague. I've been brainstorming various anti spam features for SBBS as I want to release 1.0 soon. There's some missing features but it's ready for production use once it goes through a bug screening and such.


This same idiot has also registered on tons of other forums. These people seriously need to be shot twice in each foot, knees, arms, and trown off a busy highway overpass.
