I watched a NOVA special on this and was impressed, impossible to prove and highly critizied, however the idea the universe is comprized of 'strings' which vibrate at different frequencies to change their form is a good idea.

the difficulty with this is the additonal 'dimensions' necessary somewhere like 6 - 11 additional dimensions

The universe is made with duct tape. It has a light side, and a dark side, and holds the universe together. It only makes sense.
