what does apple or quicktime think they can use their software for, at least not agree to use it for

Oh, I read every word, of course. :didi:

That user agreement is the only thing that has kept me from developing nuclear weapons. I never should have checked "agree." :D

there is a legal loophole there, you can select 'agree' but then shout 'NOT REALLY' :dance: :lol: :dance:

whereas crossing your fingers does not work, unless you have a webcam attached to your p.c. - History and reasons why shouting 'NOT REALLY' works over crossing your fingers is because the FBI can enable the mic on your p.c. by reversing the I/O of the built in mobo speaker and enable any phone in your home built after 1992. Whereas you have no expectation of privacy even if you turn your phone off, It is assumed they would hear the 'NOT REALLLY' and by enabling the windows drivers - they can see they e.u.l.a. that you are reported agreeing to, but then changing to 'NOT REALLY'

But... how would you use quicktime to design nuclear weapons? I prefer to use Autocad then import it in a simulation test program.
