Kanye West is a moron. Most rappers are, or at least portray themselves as, greedy, superficial, doubletalking imbeciles. I'm sure with as big a heart as he seemed to have when he went off on Bush during a New Orleans/Katrina fundraiser, he could've put HIS money where his mouth is and done something better with $3900 than blow it on a damn meal. The 'aristocracy' here in the States, that loves to talk charity, helping people out, and so on, sure seem to blow a lot of money on lots of cars, huge homes, etc. I despise the Democratic party largely because of this two-faced activity of its power elite. I despise the Republican party because it's full of photo-op Christians, have numerous dubious special interests (like the Dems, I might add), and are just as ineffectual at getting things done as the Dems. Anyway....

I wonder how many meals that money could have been used for to send to families in need.

There's probably a million things he could've done with that money that would have served better use. Granted he can spend his money however he wants, but don't hop on a soapbox about people in need not being helped and then do a retardedly ultra-vain thing like this.

Well at least the chef got paid well. Kanye West didn't pay for it though, it was his promotion company. Still why they couldn't just hired a darn chef to go there an make the meal is beyond me.
