So, is it just me or is waking up for school impossible? Im not the person that goes 'have to get up..' nope. I dont hit the snooze either. I just turn the damn alarm off and go back up bed. And one of my friends goes to bed around 2'ish AM and wakes up without any trouble at 6:30 AM.

How in the heck do you guys wake up to go to school / work?

I must know.

An object in motion tends to stay in motion, an object at rest tends to stay at rest

That is all you need to know B)

Go to bed early enough that you don't need the alarm clock to get up for school - wake up naturally. That's the best way to have a day where you have enough energy, etc.

I set my alarm about 2.5 hours before I have to leave, and I end up hitting the snooze button 4-5 times. :P I've gotten into the habit of having a good hour and a half to chill out before heading to work though. Still even if I forget my alarm I end up waking up with at least 30min before I have to leave for work, which is plenty for me.

I'm homeschooled. So, I have no problems waking up for that part of my schooling, since I can do it whenever, as long as I finish by the end of the week (Sunday). However, I am going to college, so I do have to wakeup for that, but I recently destroyed my sleep, so I'm sleeping at 4-7PM and waking up at around Midnight to 1 AM. It's not SO bad, but I do miss dinner sometimes.. Plus I can stay awake long enough to make it through college! So, it works for me a bit.

I don't recommend you do that, though... Actually, I do. Go for it :D

Waking up is the hardest part of the day, and the time I wake up at determines my awake level for most of the day. If I get up early, I'm tired most of the day, if I get up later, then I feel awake. Anything after 8:00 and I'm usually ok, but when I have to get up at like 7:00 I'm pooched all day. I like my college schedule as most of my days start at 10:30. I have one that starts at 8:30, and it's a two hour lecture by one of the most boring teachers.

I usually just make it to the 10:30 programming class. :D

Boring teachers are evil D: My teacher is boring. Has an hour lecture twice a week starting at 10:40. And it feels like that one hour could seemingly be a whole week.

some of my teachers can be very interesting. lol they do such weird things. its so funny when they get super excited over what they're teaching. its prolly more fun to be in a class where the teachers are actually excited about the material. haha i love that class.

Yeah classes like that are way better. But when it's a guy just mumbling and repeating himself, I just want to stab myself with pencils.

In all seriousness, when you're out on your own and living more by your own wits, abilities, and knowledge than you are in high school (or even college), you'll stand to benefit all the more if you paid attention in school and actually learned the material - whether the teacher was boring or not.

I'm listening, regardless how boring it is. It's just hard to D:

That, and all the people in my class have laptops and they're playing games while he's talking. I was the only one in my class who got an A on that stupid test. There's about 48 people in my class, alot were high B's though.

It always feels like I'm the only one trying in my class, 'cause I want to get good grades so I can finish college earlier, since I can get credits for it now. (I'm only in the 11th grade.)

Would be great to get a cell call and have a conversation that makes you sound like your in the military or something like that.

*cell rings in middle of test*

"what?! they launched it now? it was suppose to be at 8:00pm sharp tonight, now we'll have the allies all over us and we're not ready yet!"

*delay as other person talks*

"So the password was never set properly on the launch pad?"

*delay as other person talks*

"ok, get all ships to combat mode, activate the death star's beam, and lets just pray they wont hit us too hard"

*delay as other person talks*

"ok, ok I'll try to be there, but I'm writing a test here"

*delay as other person talks*

"yes I realize the mission is more important but..."

*delay as other person talks*

"ok I'll be there in 15 minutes"

*pickup stuff and leave class in panic*
