Anyone know any great ways to help clear up spots?!
Because after all alot of us get them, even if only slightly..

You mean acne, right?

I wash my face with salicylic acid, put benzoyl peroxide on my pimples, and moisturize with a noncomogenic lotion containing alpha-hydroxy acid and sunblock. It’s cheap if you don’t fall for the expensive packaging.

washing your face well everyday, thats pretty much all i do and i dont have too much trouble with it.

Yeah but many people who get acne or blackheads will realise it isn't just washing your face that helps, hardly, I always wash my face...

But really I should have made it more clear....blackheads are a bitch...if I may say, they are the worst!
I hardly get acne, to much, blackheads are my main problem...and alot of the stuff ya can buy really is sold to get ya money because they know its the biggest issue and we younger generation are very weary about how we look, admit it..
So its hard to know..
I wondered about any natural stuff...like toothpaste has been said to work, I tried it a few times, it dries over night and then wash off in morning, it helps abit...to dry up spots...but not to severely...however nowadays it doesn't work as well..
Toothpaste was said on brainiac for anyone wondering..lol

Unfortunately, I don't know that there are many effective blackhead preventatives out there. Acne, on the other hand has a good variety.

well you are on the interweb, ever thought of doing a search? Here is what wikipedia says

Treatment

* Removal of the skin bumps or plugs by your dermatologist or certified beautician or by oneself (if possessing the skills to do so)
* Use of exfoliants such as Beta Hydroxy Acid (salicylic acid).
* Application of benzoyl peroxide.
* Phototherapy with blue/red light
* Frequent, thorough cleansing of the skin.
* Using a steel blackhead remover tool called a comedo extractor.
* Topical retinoids
* The strategic application of pressure around the affected area. Most commonly exerted by the index fingers of both hands.
* In cases of severe recalcitrant nodular acne, by the use of the drug Accutane (isotretinoin).
* Using one Q-tip in each hand push out black/whiteheads this way you do not touch and spread the bacteria and you do not scratch your face using your bare fingers.

There was this stuff my mom bought it was designed for acne. But it was like a 5 step process, washing my face took longer then taking a shower lol, was pretty bad. Half the time I did not do it, out of lazyness. Though one of the 3 solutions worked on it's own. So you do have to be careful not to fall for the complicated treatments. In fact I think just rubbing alcohol or anything that can make your skin dry will work. Dryness = your friend when it comes to acne.

I don't think your quite right on that point Red. At least not for everyone. I've had acne treatments that dried out my skin and actually made my acne worse.

hmm interesting. Since I remember this one formula made my skin super oily and it made it worse, but if I took it without, this formula that made my skin dry (had a huge warning about sunburns too) made zits literally fall off.

If its facial......Its like a bar of soap....but its not really soap...its called, FOSTEX.....its an old-time remedy....but it works; however, if you can still find it; only use it for 3 days in a row to start out....and then about 2x's a week.....your pharmacy might have it or be able to order it for you.......you don't want to use it too often.....as it has a tendency to dry out your skin.....but use it for maintenance 1X a week after spots have cleared.........it will really clean out the pores and make your skin look so much nicer......I know.....many moons ago I used it and I know it works....Italiano

Hhhmmm, well I dont have spots cuz i wash my face every day. buttttttttt There are alot of products that can cure ur "spot" issue.
