Why have a cell phone if you never answer the thing? I don't get it. Some people!

I almost always answer mine... unless I'm busy. or in a theater.. or having sex... but I guess that falls under busy right?

suppose that makes sense that if someone does not answer the phone that means they are busy. good thinking. so why is so annoying to me?

I dont have or want a cell phone. I have trouble handling the phone at home, its nice to get out and not have to play mr secretary. This house is like a call center. My parents are out of town and the phone must of went off at least 20 times today. I've gotten discouraged and just stopped answering, I'm not a service rep, and I'm not getting paid for this. My ringer is off and I can actually watch a movie or something.

I usually answer the phone whenever it rings, but we have call waiting, which lets us know if a call comes in while we're on the phone, and I usually don't bother to interupt my conversations to answer the call waiting.

something tells me the police ain't going to call you to say they're going to bust your door in and take everything you have cuz they think you have dope!!

You must not have understood the conversation between me and my daughter. I said that I don't answer call waiting calls. My daughter was asking if I would answer the police if they had already arrested her for drugs.

and that's why I cancelled call waiting at my house. Knowone would pick up the damn phone. It's a 7$ option. gone.
