Don't patch!

I'm probably WAY late on this, but if you have not patched in a while, DONT. It just opens up a huge can of worms. I'm just hearing all the issues people are having, such as not being able to connect, etc. Also you will need to update razor for it to support the new patched client, and it most likely breaks everything else such as uogateway, connectuo, easyuo etc.

If you do patch, make a backup first. :P

im sure easyuo is already updated, uogatewy is dead (imo) connectuo will probably be updated soon (if its not already), anyway i dont like last patch with all that snow and shit;P new patch=more lag for me most likely

Yeah forgot about the snow. Hurts the eyes too I'll bet. To truly simulate a winter, simply need to live where I live. As I post it's -23 and while it was very late this year, we did get our snow. :D

Jan 17 2007 8:49PM GMT (PST +08:00)

On Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00PM PST (January 17 9:00PM GMT), we will deploy Client Patch 5.0.7.2

Details for the patch are as follows:

* Rock mounds under snow will no longer block movement
* Added live event content

If patched correctly, your current version will display 5.0.7.2 for both clients. If you have any difficulty receiving this patch, please check the following:

Check the "Patch" directory within your Ultima Online directory (the default location is C:Program FilesEA GamesUltima OnlinePatch).

This directory should be empty. Any files in this directory should be deleted.

Run a virus scan on your computer. Undetected viruses may cause conflicts with patching Ultima Online. For information on up-to-date virus detection software, please visit http://www.mcafee.com.

If after trying the above, you are still experiencing difficulty patching the Ultima Online client, please visit this web page.
