It's been so long since I've had tic tacs...I need to go buy some. guess what?! I'm moving out in August or November I'm so excited! I'm going to finish my senior year in Salina...where I belong!

It's a long story, actually but since you asked I'll tell you. My mom has been rather...more or less abusive lately and we DON'T get along. She's been picking fights...I mean literally fights...and she makes me feel like I'm worthless and will never amount to anything. I suffer from depression, and that's not the wisest thing to say to a person in depression..I pulled out a knife and almost commited suicide. So I told my grandpa, because he the only person I trust, and he said I could stay with him, in Salina, Plus if I hadn't been adopted I would've been living there in the first place..and it was the place I was born, that's why I belong there and yea, school will have started already, but I don't care..I'd rather get away from an abusive person.

Yeah, it's probably best that you get out of that situation for a while. Not knowing her side of the story, I can't tell if she really is a jerk, or if you just perceive her as a jerk because depressive types tend to focus on themselves a lot, and she may not be acting the way you would wish her to act. Getting a fresh perspective with your Grandpa might be just the thing you need. He might not be as suffocating as your Mom, and you might come to realize more that all adults who love you are going to seem a bit suffocating with their desires to protect you.

Thank you all for your advice. I do believe that a fresh start and maybe getting away from her for a while will be good. I don't like being depressed because I do find myself focusing on just me and I don't like it because then I come off as self-centered and everyone thinks I'm a total B****. and thats not the case, because I really like doing things for other people and being a helper more than a demander.

I used to have a kitty..her name was sabbith after the band black sabbith cause she was all black. She died 2 years ago in April. It was sad. I miss her.
