Just watched a movie called Freedom Downtime, it's more of a documentary. It's about how the US goverment is stupid and treats hackers/pirates worse then killers and child molestors, even if they have no facts. I knew already it was like that, but now I have more proof/facts about it.

I'm Soooooo glad I don't live in the US, since pictures like this would make the feds raid my house easly.

It's nice to know that you believe everything that you see on TV. Especially if it makes the U.S. look bad. Way to go Red. Jump in line with the rest of the herd.
Hey, I've seen a movie about how Elvis is still alive. Isn't that great. :)

I'm not basing my beliefs on that movie, that movie simply reminded me of the truth. (it's also a true story, or based on one, I think) Seriously, just watch the news. Whenever there's a case having to do with computer crime, they're treated worse then if it's a case about a murder or sexual abuse.

Heck, even saddam insane is being treated better. He's chilling out with a few guys having a few beers and doritos. And it's pretty sad that he actually has the right to a lawyer, while some guy who logs in as root to the pentagon mainframe and does no damage is not even allowed to speek and get's their house destroyed then goes to jail and can't talk to his family.

Not the best articles as I just did a quick search, but it shows how they go overboard with stuff. They should not have any right to even go in someone elses house without some advanced permission. That's how it works here, they can't just barge in. But the US goverment makes the rules, so it's ok there to just barge in and flip the whole house around and steal thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

Now this is how saddam husain, a guy who killed thousands, if millions of people, is being treated.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8288955/

Thing is, saddam will actually have right to have a lawyer, and the rich man he is he'll get a good one and probably win the case. Gota love the US justice system. if you have the money, you're safe from the law... unless you're a hacker.

Don't get me wrong I don't think hacking into unauthorized systems is ok, but they don't have to go overboard with the penalties either.

Well none of those articals said how the hackers were being treated in jail. It also didn't say they would be denied an lawyer. Do I think the FBI was right in doing what they did, yes I do. Hacking isn't a game RED.
You just see it as no big deal.

As far as Saddam, He's in jail. He won't get away with it. Just saying "Gotta love the US justice system" is a nice blanket statement. I don't think it applies here.

I know you love to bash the US any chance you get RED. I"m not sure why.
I've often read and heard that many people think that Americans are arrogate self centered, self serving people. Well RED from what I've witnessed at this forum, you seem to be the most arrogant person I've meet in a forum. Can't just hangout and BS. It's always gotta be how the US (in your eyes) is always screwing things up. Nice. Keep it up. <_<

I'm confused, your name says 000... But sometimes it's 0... Are you the same 0 as the other one? Or are you 2 different people?

Php variables are type less, which means you don't have to declare it as an int, char, etc, so the string 000 if sometimes interpretted by the number 000 which is 0. what I find odd though is how it only does it some times. Depends in what context the string is used I guess.

As I recall, 'Freedom Downtime' was made with at least a fair amount of involvement of the 2600 magazine staff, namely E. Goldstein. If you're interested in seeing a broader angle of where they're coming from and so on, pickup an issue of 2600 magazine or go to their site (http://www.2600.com) and you can listen to their 'Off the Hook' radio show online. Is it sometimes a little over the top? Maybe. But even the occasionally overly paranoid serve the greater good by being government/corporate watchdogs.
