We used to have a good photography thread at the old AF. I think it's time to have one here....I thought someone mentioned having one here recently too. So I'll start......and don't steal people's pictures.

Cool idea. Too bad I lost my D drive though, had some nice ones on there.
Though 80% of it was on CD so I can transfer them back.

Does not beat the ones from last year though, had some pretty awesome ones. Notice the Christmas decorations. That picture was taken in July.

i don't know a whole lot about cameras, i know some basic stuff, i know what aperture settings do, and how to get things visible, but as far as filters or some lighting stuff, and a handful of other stuff so i'm still in the dark. i'm thinking of getting a book but can i count on you to answer a handful of my questions?

I took a photography course once. It was pretty cool, taught me some really neat things. I need to start taking more pictures though.

I don't know if I could be any help, but I have had a couple of photography courses in college as part of my art major. I have a Canon AE1 I got my senior year of high school. It's about 25 years old now. Wouldn't mind replacing it with something a little more up to date.
