No..... 15 or 20$ a month isn't that bad, you'll understand when you're older. Their server costs are sky high, and it's constantly getting updated with new areas and features.

No you can't play it offline. It's a subscription, you need to log into their servers.
There are illegal, cracked servers, but theyre:
A ) Rubbish
and
B ) Illegal and don't last long.

Morrowind is good, but until you've played a MMORPG, you don't know why people pay 20 dollars a month for them.
It's all about the community, and interacting with other players. Seriously, it's something you have to experience.
20 dollars is like... peanuts, when you consider people play these games for up to 8 hours a day. 240 hours a month entertainment, that makes 8 cents per hour.

Heh, he had plenty of practice talking to phones. In 24, he's on a phone so much that i'm surprised he hasn't got a brain tumor and died.

Yep it will, it's why I did not start playing it, since UO is already taking over my life.
BTW you CAN play WoW for free, just find a free server, so most servers are in beta so not all is up to date but still better than paying.
