I'm getting crazily addicted to this game and it's a great change from all the plain ol' jane stuff i had been playing recently.

In this game you're a little dude rolling a ball, when the ball rolls over things smaller than it, they will stick to the ball, the ball keeps growing as you roll over stuff and you have goals to reach within certain time limits.

The simple game play has got me addicted like almost no other game i've ever played. You control everything with just the analog sticks and the game sets some goals that aren't really that hard, but you will want to go back and see what all you can do in this crazy little game. The goals are usually collect so many of this item, or get your ball (the katamari) X size withing X minutes, but i find that the goals you set for yourself are very rewarding once you achieve them (my big goal now is to get the Giraffe in the katamari).

I played the demo in walmart. I might get this game it looks very promising. And alot of people said its really good. So im probably going to get this game.

It's probably one of my favourite games ever. The last level is brilliant, it takes 20 minutes to complete. You start out picking up small objects like fruit, then move up to road cones, rocks etc. then animals, then PEOPLE, then trees and lamposts, mailboxes etc.

After a while you begin picking up vehicles and large animals, then Boats and buildings, and eventually you get big enough to pick up the actual islands that you were picking up fruit on not so long ago. I think i pretty much maxed out my size on the last level, picked up every island, picked up rainbows, volcanoes, all sorts of stuff like that.

yeah it's amazing, a friend of mine got 800 some meters, it's darn cool. i've only got one shooting star but i'll probably go back and replay some of the levels, i wanna pick up a giraffe before the moon level.

everybody who has a ps2 should get this game, because it's horribly fun and addictive at least for a few hours (5-8 probably). and it's $20 i've spent $20 on way dumber stuff and i guarantee most other people have too.

I've played a bit of it, and it is a pretty cool game. I bought it for my dad, and he was incredibly addicted to it... until he found burnout
