HI PEOPLE!!

I missed some of you guys!!

Okay, for those of you that love and miss me when I'm gone, which is of course all of you since I'm finger-licking good, I just wanted to let you know what happened.

I fractured my right leg/knee on May 30th...a tibial plateau fracture or something like that...

Long story short, I fell on a rock and the rock won.

I ended up having to get surgery on like June 3rd or 4th or something and I now have 5 screws and a metal plate in my knee. o___O

I haven't been able to walk, of course, and won't be able to for about another month or so. (sometime early August)

You'd think that my pain and suffering from that would be enough, but noooo....the week before last I ended up going to the ER because I was having breathing problems and chest pains. And it turns out I have a bilateral Pulmonary Embolism, probably as a result of my knee being immobilized for so long.

For those that don't know, that means I had clots in both my lungs. Now I have to take 2 anticoagulants for the next 6 months on top of all the pain meds I was already taking. :/

I think I'm pretty much okay now, just a constant dull pain in my leg and lungs, but I'm pretty much used to it, so...

It's not all bad, though....I've already thought of the potential money-making opportunity this could be in the future if I save my meds. ;X

Some of the drugs I'm taking will get you high, kids! eBay, here I come!! Oxycontin, Percocet, Lovenox, Coumadin...God, yes, I'll be rich!!

What a terrible situation! Do you have to stay in a bed all day? Will you have any permanent problems?

I bet the 'rock' was a Turbo-hyped up super engine with 5 carbirators, and the horsepower of 500 horses. And thus, it was thrown at his knee at an unbearable speed! And that's when it happened, the Ninjas attacked, they wanted that engine badly, so he had to go Matrix on all of them, and he wiped them all out. And thus, going to his car, he tripped on an ant, and hit a rock.

I pretty much had to stay in bed all day for the first two weeks after fracturing my knee, but I'm mobile now, relatively-speaking. I had to stay in bed for the week while I was in the hospital for the pulmonary embolism thingy.

I'm getting all fat and lazy!!

Hopefully, not too many permanent problems. They said I'll get athritis in my knee way sooner than normal and I could potentially get a lot of scar tissue and lose some range of motion...but we'll see.

The gist of it is, I fell on the rock because it was slippery. My friends and I were hiking by this river.

And yes, I could use a nurse!!!....do you cook? ;X
