SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The 11-year-old boy lost for four days in the Utah mountains might have been found sooner had it not been for the fact that he was taught to stay away from strangers, his uncle and a sheriff told NBC News on Wednesday.

Forrest Nunley, the man who found Brennan Hawkins concurred, telling NBC's "Today" show in an exclusive interview that Brennan "had been hiding" in some trees from other searchers on horseback and that, when offered water, "he was a little bit worried about whether he could have the water or not."

The whole big deal made out of the Natalee Holloway case is absurd. Some dumb woman gets in a car with three strangers on an island renowned for its drug dealers, and then she disappears? NO WAY!.

The million dollars spent looking for her could save the lives of hundreds of children in africa, it's abominable.

People sometimes make bad judgments about people and make mistakes. You too might someday make a bad call. I think it's terrible. Any parent cringes at the thought.
