this comes to show how dangeraus MS is. Their software crashes, so why not their hardware, and why stop there, why not make it be so defective that it can burn your house down!

What's scary is that it's a freaken power cord, it's not very hard to make it safe.

I've heard power cords are very dangerous. What is the first thing someone grabs when they want to strangle someone? That's right, a power cord.

I prefer steel cabling, like what they use in elevators.... hooked up to a power cord. :D

From the sound of it, and judging by the profession he has taken up, I'd say yes, he probably does. I'd also say he probably lives in some sort of high-tech underground cavern or sewer...

In those days, Canadians were brits, basically. We were rulled by them until we decided to branch off as our own country, and yet we still have the queen on our money. LOL

The troops that burnt the White House never touched Canadian soil. Even though it didn't exist then. They landed on American soil, straight from the home land. :nana:

Red. Go call a Brit a Canadian. Let me know of your results. :didi:

Things are different now, but all I'm saying is that in those days, Canadians today would be brits then, since Canada did not exist yet, well it did but it was way different, it was lower Canada and upper Canada, or something like that. This is like grade 6 stuff so I'm rusty in that area.

Your 6th grade history books said that Canadians attacked and burned our capitol?

I'm sure the brits also had territories in Australia at that time also. So if that was true, could we/you assume that the Australians attacked and burned our capitol? Brits then, but Australians now.

Well I've always learned it was Canada that did it, and that's what's in the history books, ask almost anyone and that's what they'll say, exept for the few conspiricy people trying to dig up obscure facts. Sort of like that conspiracy saying Edison did not invent the light bulb. Based on less known facts, Swan actually made the light bulb but in terms of history and what's recorded it's edison so most people stick to that. (and he did contribute allot to the invention).

Well.....This is the first time I've ever heard that it was the Canadians. All my searches on the net Say the brits and the Canadians were never mentioned. Give it a search.
Is anyone else getting this?
Was the war of 1812 fought against Canada? Or England?
Are our history books wrong?
I dought it. :didi:

After the british drove the french out of the ohio valley and a lot of Canada in the 1700's, the french fell, and canada as well as the ohio valley became british(seven Years War). In the war of 1812, troops from Canada marched down and burnt everything in their path, including our "White House". They were british troops from Canada, however, if you want to talk about what is Canada; for 200 years before Canada officially became Canada, it was settled first by french and then british traders and troops. The early heritage of Canada lies with these groups. It may not have officially been Canada, but it was the same people who would later be 'Canadians'

FYI, the British colonies and states(when they declared independence) had a real thing for Canada, they tried to capture Canada for American territory many times and were defeated everytime.
