"Witnesses also reported that the driver jumped down from the vehicle and ran to catch a bus prior to the arrival of Engine 2 and the Harris County Sheriff's Department"
He must have been really late for work.

First time I see a car stuck in wires.
I guess the guy was late for work and it was the second time in a row so he could not afford to loose his job.
