Um you seem young and confused. First thing you gotta be ready and so does she, secondly you shoud watch a porno movie. I'm serious about this it will at least give you some understanding. If you want to meet someone this *can* be effective, just go to the mall find a chick ask her if she is seeing anyone. If she says no ask for her number. Give her a call then set something up. You remind me of the booksmart kid in all the movies, the one that always says, "Gee, I don't think this is a good idea, guys", the one that all the other kids ignore and go on their adventure anyways and, while nearly dying due to a monster/troll/nazi, have a blast in the process anyways.

Uhmmm..I totally disagree with that trane of thought.
I am for having sex and living together before you are married.
It would have saved me allot of anguish. Red, all you know is what you are told by that book of yours, I have real life experience. I'm not saying that it's the same in every case but i'm pretty sure it's close.
I didn't live with my wife until we got married. If I would have.....we wouldn't have gotten married. That's all I'll say about that.
As far as sex...Yes we had sex before marriage. And I'm glad we did.
Sex is very important in a relationship. You need to know were both of you stand.
This is far fetched but (Red) what if your new wife likes to be choked during sex? or spanked with a leather glove? What now? I'm sure it happens. Wouldn't you have liked to known before you got married? But you'll probably say " I'm sure when I get married, I'll be sure she's the right one for me and we'll be happy for the rest of our lives together."

I agree, trying sex before marriage is smart, so is living with someone before marriage. Not talking about just doing anything that moves, but you do have to know if you are sexually compatible before signing the long term agreement. Too many people, as was mentioned here, go in thinking it will be one way and get stuck because they didn't find out all the details before making the ultimate commitment. Sex is a very important part of many people's relationships and needs to be addressed as such for those people.

Is having babies outside of marriage a smart thing to do? No form of protection, outside of abstinence, is 100% effective. Sex should be saved for marriage.

It's true that we don't need to make this thread into a tireless argument. So far several people have given one piece of advice each, some in favor of premarital activity, and some against. Which isn't exactly what the person who started the thread asked for, but it's not quite an argument yet, either.

While I certainly agree having a baby outside of marriage is not smart, neither is raising a child in a home where the parents don't see eye to eye. It terms of the child, he/she can deal with one parent, having two parents constatnly arguing is more detramental(sp) than anything on the otherside. If parents were forced to focus on thier children instead of their own impulses, then it wouldn't be an issue, but this is not the case. The most important factor in raising a child is not the presence of the traditional family structure, but the presense of an encouraging environment and opportunities.

Assuming sex is soley for the reproduction of children(which I hope you understand is your perspective and you can't hold everyone to your view of that), then sex should be saved. It is not only for the reproduction of children, it is a vital part in sharing a partnership such as marrage, it simply must be treated as this important act.

I don't see anyone in this thread holding that perspective. I, for one, just mentioned kids as a possible consequence of sexual activity which must be considered, not as a statement that sex is only for reproduction. (I may hold some narrow viewpoints, but I'm not that narrow. )

Well techically/naturally sex is for reproducting, but as humans we can't help but also use it for pleasure, or as an act of love. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, as long as it's with your wife and not someone else's.

Girls are complicated. (not that I know, but seen many friends' situations, and it gets really complicated)

Recompile your windows kernel, make windows fully customized to your own needs, fix all the bugs in IE, and make it W3C compliant, then recompile the linux kernel to support linux, win32, and mac applications. And make solitaire support winsock.

Once you accomplished those things and think it's a piece of cake, then getting a girl will be considered easy enough.

Buy the game Circvs Maximvs. That's how I got to know the girl I eventually married. A friend of mine had just bought this game, which recreates chariot racing in ancient Rome, and was telling some people about it. A girl decided she wanted to play, so seven of us got together with her and taught her how. She crossed the finish line last, but she still did better than me. I went too fast around a corner (I think someone had whipped my horses as they went by), and my chariot flipped. The cool part was that it almost hit another driver, but they were able to brake in time. The uncool part was that I had to cut myself loose from my horses before I was dragged to my death. Experiences like that will certainly bond a guy and a girl.

GOOD LORD! How much does this game cost? How many horses do you get? Do you have to build your own chariots? It all sound dangerous to me. My neighbors probably wouldn't like horses in my back yard...............................
