An interesting read regardless of what side of the piracy issue you may be on. Talking with different people in the scene, it gives an overview of what goes into a pirated release and a look at the pirate pyramid distributing files - a system which could be perceived as "a vast criminal enterprise engaged in wholesale copyright infringement" but plays more like a game of who can get and move files the fastest.

True not something you'd expect to hear in an interview, but the FBI knows these sites are there, it's just that they are so well hidden and well protected, they can't get access to them. I don't think this article will change anything, those in a position to do anything already know this is going on, and the people who run these topsitesdumpsetc are no idiots either.

Now that showing off his full name talking about how he makes money relaying new releases to the MPAA and what not, yeah, maybe he said a little much

On the other hand, the intersting part, is that it shows the average joe what the MPAA and RIAA want to downplay - that piracy is not simply the fault of p2p networks.
