I think it's Iraq that should of declared war first to stop the US from having weapons of mass destruction.

Nucleur power is not the same as weapons of mass destruction . . . except when you're discussing Iran.
And nucleur power is the safest power available . . . except when there's an accident.
Simple, isn't it?

Yeah but they talk about nuclear weapons by the bottom.
They lost a nuke in Canada and as of today it's still here...somewhere.

The cold war the all the too-close-for-comfort nuclear situations are the reason we try to stop unnessicary proliferation now.

Yeah well today I don't think they even use nuclear weapons anymore, or do they? (missles etc)

No, not really, we came far too close to total annihilation to seriously consider nuclear weapons.

We still have a bunch of nuclear warheads around the US that, if we wanted to, could still use though, right?

I just did a search for the words "nuclear missiles" and there are a number of countries that still have them. One site even gave the amounts for each country.

Yes, since the cold war ended, many other countries have aquired nuclear weapons. Mostly through buying Russian blackmarket-type materials. When the U.S.S.R. fell, they were fully armed and didn't do a good job of rounding up their weapons. Many just sat out in the open, for anyone to take for years. There are still some unaccounted for I'm sure. A few countries have developed the technology as well, most most just stole or bought it.

I wonder what that Russian scientist told his wife whenever she came out in the garage?
"Harold, what's those green glowing canisters?"
"Nuclear Materials."
"Hahah, oh Harold, you crack me up!"
